Gold tacky nails
This gold is the Color Club polish I got in my Birchbox this month and I really love it. Someone on tumblr described it as “Lil Wayne’s teeth gold”. The other gold is an ORLY color I have. I wonder if the brand ORLY knew that their name would be an internet term. I’m not sure how you actually pronounce their name, but I always go with “Oh Really?”
I’m headed to the beach (Gulf Shores, AL) today for a friend’s bachelorette party, so I needed some dope nails.

Use the tiniest paint brush you have and take shallow strokes upwards towards the cuticle to create almost a flame effect over your nails. It’s a fun alternative to your basic French tips. Also a fun way to add new spring colors into your collection.
I wanted my nails to look like M.I.A. would wear them as pants.
Spring is finally here (yes!) and I wanted to do a fun, bright set of nails for the week. Always with the accent nail, I did a slightly darker shade of pink for my ring and pinky nails.
Shades are OPI’s La Paz-itively Hot, H&M’s Stawberry Lollipop, and Stila’s Kitten. I’m using Out the Door top coat these days, it was my replacement for Seche Vite and I love it so much more. Takes a few more minutes to set, but no shrinkage! That’s another post in itself, though.
The beautiful Allison got me the sets of Stila and H&M polishes! She’s the best. Seriously, guys.

Veruschka by Zoya with gold accents.
I wasn’t in the mood for matte (which this polish normally is), so I painted over this emerald green color with my Seche Vite topcoat. It’s like a brand new polish and I love it.
I paint my nails weekly. And then due to all things job-related, they’re chipped after a day or two. I’m terrible about taking pictures, but this week Bailey sent me colors that were too pretty not to post. Excuse all my mistakes.

The periwinkle color is a Sephora mini, so I’m not sure of the name.
The glitter is Save Me by OPI (from the Nicki Minaj collection).
